Abstract

Within the framework of the theoretical analysis, we study the basics of the selection of IT-specialists, the difficulties that employers face in this selection, as well as the specifics of the work of IT-recruiters, associated with the need to immerse in the technical aspects of the profession. The article highlights some trends typical for the field of IT-personnel recruitment in organizations: recruitment marketing, talent sourcing, employer branding, social recruiting, recruiting automation tools, etc. The purpose of the study is to identify challenges in IT-recruiting and how to overcome them. The methodological basis of the study involves the use of a systemic-synergetic approach, quantitative analysis of statistical data along with descriptive and comparative methods. A new solution for recruiting IT-specialists with the help of sourcing technologies was proposed, which helps to generate a consistent flow of highly-skilled applicants. The study is conducted on the example of the ANCOR group of companies, namely the ANCOR FinTech business unit, where an effective model for the recruitment process is implemented. The analysis revealed some barriers that hinder the process improvement and need to be removed. They were taken into account in the implementation of the new operating model on which GeekSource is built.
