HR-RISK IMPACT ASSESSMENT TOOLKIT FOR INDUSTRIAL PERSONNEL DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The role of staff in business development is one of the most dynamic and depends on many of subjective and objective factors, as well as their combination and joint influence on the behavior, motivation, and value preferences of staff. As the paradigms of strategic business management develop, the attitude of managers to the role and place of staff in the formation of the economic value of business products and services changes, and the most noticeable dynamics towards the constructive integration of the branches of management and executive staff became noticeable in the second half of the 20th century – early the 21st century, which is a turning point in the economic and technological order of mankind. This article is devoted to studying the theoretical and methodological foundations of one of the strategic problems of personnel management of industrial enterprises – HR risks, which include an extensive group of risks of finding, selecting employees and personnel placement in the business model of the enterprise. The leading methods for studying this problem are general scientific (qualitative and logical analysis, deduction, systemic approach, retrospective analysis,) and philosophical methods that enable one to comprehensively consider the assessment of the impact of HR risks on the indicators of business activity and its investment attractiveness. The article presents the genesis of HR risks, discloses the conceptual apparatus of HR risks and gives its critical analysis, identifies the main HR risks of an industrial enterprise in the modern digital economy, substantiates conceptual formulas for assessing HR risks for industrial business. The materials of the article are of practical value for top managers and HR specialists of industrial business, crisis managers, and recruiting agencies.
