STRATEGIC ANALYSIS OF DEVELOPMENT TRENDS OF THE RUSSIAN AND WORLD ORGANIC PRODUCTS MARKET
Abstract
In the context of tougher sanctions against Russia, one of the priority goals of increasing the competitiveness and market stability of the domestic economy is the accelerated development of organic agriculture. To achieve it, it is necessary to substantiate promising directions for the development of organic agriculture in Russia, taking world experience and analysis of the efficiency of domestic organic producers into account, and assessing the potential for the development of the organic market. The object of the study was the organic market and certified organic producers in Russia. The prerequisites were substantiated and strategic guidelines for the development of domestic organic production were considered, the dynamics of the basic indicators of the organic products market in Russia for 2010-2022 was characterized, a comparative analysis of the performance of certified organic producers was carried out. This made it possible to assess the state and development potential of the organic products market, as well as to justify the prospects for its development. As measures to stimulate the development of organic production, marketing positioning and informing consumers about the advantages of organic products, promising areas of differentiation of investment and state support instruments are proposed. The results of the study can be used by agricultural organizations in the transition to organic agriculture, local authorities for the purpose of justifying state support for organic producers, strengthening the integration of environmental interests of the state into sectoral policies and developing the organic market in the regions.
